Explain what their future plans are and how they have changed in the past six years.
Things hadn't been going very peachy for Sanada Genichirou. Not since his high school graduation, when his family found out about his secret love affair with Yukimura and proceeded to cut off all contact between the two of them. There wasn't anything that Sanada could do to stop it either. His responsibility to his family combined with the fact that they were financially supporting him left him with little to do but go along with them when they declared that he couldn't see Yukimura again. He never even got the chance to tell him what was happening. All his attempts to get a phone call or letter off had been intercepted by his parents and their insisting that his relationship with Yukimura was totally unnatural.

Maybe it had been. Sanada didn't care at the time, and he still didn't.

It was at that point that Sanada had decided that he would focus solely on his schoolwork, kendo, and tennis. That he would avoid all other relationships and the issues that came with it. And so far he was doing pretty well with it, other than a few very secret one night stands that he had here and there. His parents were convinced that his homosexuality had been fixed, and now for the first time in years he was being permitted to transfer to the school of his choice.

Getting out of the house and away from the family that refused to accept who he was. Genichirou thought that sounded wonderful.

"Ah, Genichirou, is that the letter of acceptance for transferring to that school that you've been wanting to go to?" Sanada's brother asked, sitting down beside Genichirou and trading the letter Genichirou was holding for his six month old niece, "Looks like you got in no problem!"

"Hn. I'll be leaving for Osaka next week." Genichirou replied, bouncing the baby on his knee and making her laugh.

"What a shame. The local university isn't good enough for Uncle Genichirou and so he's leaving us, Nanae-chan! Probably just so he can try and get on the Olympic tennis team!" his brother teased, leaning over to give his daughter an eskimo kiss before sitting back up to look at Genichirou again, "Though admittedly the business course there is supposed to be a lot better than the one here."

Genichirou had gone into business merely because he needed something to fall back on once his tennis carreer was over. And business seemed a better choice than anything else. He was hard working, and didn't at all mind having to wear a suit.

"Hn. You know that the only reason I was attending here was because Mother and Father were afraid that if I left home I'd hunt down Yukimura right away," Genichirou reasoned, handing Nanae back to his brother and getting up to leave the room. He knew what was coming next in this conversation.

"You should. Now that you're able to get out of the house you should track him down and explain why you left to begin with. It would probably make you feel better, you know?"

Sanada looked at his brother for a moment, and then shook his head.

"No, that's all in the past now. I'm not going to go digging that up again," he replied, exiting the room and closing the door in his older brother's face. He had just somewhat gotten over his own guilt in leaving Yukimura. The last thing that he needed was to go and reopen that wound.
